Protect What Matters

From furniture during a move to stock for your business, the things you store can be difficult to replace. StoreReady gives you the option of additional protection for eligible goods stored at Guardian Storage Essendon.

StoreReady is an optional extension to your Self Storage Licence Agreement. It is not insurance. Under the StoreReady Terms, Guardian Storage Essendon may accept liability for certain types of physical loss or damage to your goods, subject to your declared value, applicable limits, conditions and exclusions.

To Apply	Contact our Guardian Storage Team to receive a StoreReady Application Form. Ensure you have read and accept the StoreReady Terms, complete the application form, and declare the full replacement value of all goods stored.

For example, a $5,000 declared value costs $17 per month including GST. A $10,000 declared value costs $34 per month including GST.

How does it work?

Before StoreReady can begin, you need to:

Read the Self Storage Licence Agreement and StoreReady Terms.
Declare the full replacement value of all goods in your unit.
Complete the StoreReady Application Form and accept the StoreReady Terms.
Receive confirmation from Guardian Storage Essendon that your StoreReady arrangement has commenced.

StoreReady does not apply automatically when you reserve or move into a unit. To keep it in place, you must pay the applicable fees and continue to meet the requirements of your Self Storage Licence Agreement and the StoreReady Terms.

What types of loss or damage may be protected?

Subject to the full StoreReady Terms, protected events include fire, lightning, storm damage, leaking pipes and theft involving forcible and violent entry to the facility or your unit.

StoreReady does not protect against every event. For example, flood and theft without evidence of forcible and violent entry are excluded. Other exclusions apply to particular goods and causes of damage. Please read the StoreReady Terms for the full details.

Choosing your declared value

You must declare the total replacement value of everything you store, rather than only your most valuable items. The maximum available is the lesser of the value you declare and Guardian Storage Essendon accepts, or $50,000 per customer, subject to the StoreReady Terms.

If you declare less than the actual replacement value of all goods stored, an amount payable for a protected loss may be reduced proportionally.
